The fruit we bear is only good when it is picked and used. It is only ripe for a season. What good is patience, goodness, faithfulness, kindness, and love if it isn’t given away. For example, we may bear patience for one moment in time, but it is a fruit quickly picked and used, leaving a place for us to grow and bear it again. I’ve been challenged with this recently and it is sometimes discouraging knowing your fruit is running thin.
