Description
What is 3 states of matter?
Children will learn what the states of matter are and that water changes between these 3 states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Moreover, they learn to recite and read this unforgettable rhyming story.
The 3 states of water are presented in this edition of the Mother Goose meets Mother Nature series. The book is a great precursor to states of matter experiments. The familiar Mother Goose characters of Jack and Jill venture up a very big hill to fetch a pail of ice. Next, then they return down the mountain to discover the substance inside their pails has changed. The temperature atop the mountain is cold enough to fill their buckets with ice. After returning back down, however, the temperature is warmer, and the ice melts into a liquid. Subsequently, they discover that temperature changes the states of matter, they add even more heat to watch the liquid turn to a gas.
